Member Access Help

Why do I need to change my Access Number?

CSS and PSS members can now access information about their accounts online. This new service includes the ability to view your annual member statement, an interactive and easy-to-use superannuation calculator, the i-Estimator, and the ability to change your personal details and preferences. It is important for security reasons that no one else has access to your personal information so you need to change your number to one only you know, and of course will easily remember.

How do I apply for an Access Number?

If you are a new member or have forgotten your access number, you will need to apply for an Access Number. You can download an application form from here. You need to fill the form in, sign it and send it to ComSuper Security Administrator PO Box 22 Belconnen ACT 2616 or fax it to (02) 6272 9810.

How do I activate my Access Number?

Step 1 - Enter your AGS Number. This is your Australian Government Service number located on your pay slip.
Step 2 - Enter your birth date in the format of DDMMYYYY, for example, 01021970.
Step 3 - Enter your new Access Number that was recently sent to you. Please ensure that you enter your Access Number correctly.
Step 4 - Click 'Submit'.

Optional Steps:

  • If you make a mistake, click the 'Reset' to clear all fields.
  • If you do not wish to use Member Services Online, click 'Remove Access Number' to remove your Access Number permanently.
  • We will not use your personal information, including email addresses for any other purpose other than informing you of your superannuation account details. Please see our Privacy Statement for more information.
  • What does 'removing my Access Number' mean?

By removing your Access Number, you no longer have access to Member Services Online. If you have removed your Access Number and would like to reapply, you can download an application form from here. You need to fill the form in, sign it and send it to ComSuper Security Administrator PO Box 22 Belconnen ACT 2616 or fax it to (02) 6272 9810.

Why my access is locked for 24 hours ?

If the wrong authorisation/access-information are entered too many times or if you access the page which is still holding the invalid (old) authorisation/access-information after you change the access number in a different window. It is highly recommended to use the navigation-link (in the bottom of the colour frame) to navigate through the different pages (screens) and use only one window in accessing the member online services.

    Troubleshooting

  • If you are using the number pad on your keyboard, please ensure the 'Number Lock' key is turned on. It is usually located on the top right hand corner of your keyboard, above the keypad.
  • Please ensure that the Date of Birth is entered in the format of DDMMYYYY, for example 19031970.
  • Please ensure that you entered your Access Number correctly. It should be within the range of 6 to 32 digits.
